Step-by-Step Washing Guide
Step 1: Detangle with Love
Before any water touches your wig, gently brush it starting from the ends and working your way up – like softly untangling happy memories.
You can use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb . This step prevents tangles from getting worse during washing.
Step 2: Bubble Bath Time
Fill a basin with cool water and add a capful of shampoo . Swirl to mix.
Gently place your wig in the water and swirl it softly – no rubbing or scrunching! Let it soak for 5 minutes.
⚠️ Remember: Cool water only! Hot water can damage synthetic wig . We're relaxing, not cooking!
Step 3: Rinse Like a Pro
Drain the soapy water and rinse your wig under cool running water. Always rinse from root to tip – this helps the fibers lay flat.
Make sure no sneaky shampoo stays behind. Leftover residue can make your wig look dull.
Step 4: Condition & Glow
Fill the basin with fresh cool water and add a small amount of conditioner . Let your wig chill for 5–10 minutes.
Two options:
-
For extra softness: Leave the conditioner in (no rinse)
-
For a lighter feel: Rinse gently with cool water
Pro tip: Avoid getting conditioner on the lace or roots – it can loosen the knots!
Step 5: Dry Gently, Style Proudly
-
Remove the wig from water and gently squeeze (never twist or wring!)
-
Lay it on a clean towel and roll the towel up to absorb excess moisture
-
Place the wig on a wig stand to air dry – away from direct sunlight or heat
-
Once dry, give it a gentle detangling with your wide-tooth comb
And… voilà! Your synthetic wig is reborn – clean, soft, and ready for its next adventure!
